About 818 Concepts


818 Concepts was born within the year of 2008. It was Melanie and Tony that conceived this creation and brought it to life. As their love grew so did the love they have for dogs, photography and creation through innovative imagination.

Tony has been around dogs and other animals since the early stages of his life. He was raised around Game bred Pit Bulls owned by his uncles and friends along with Game fowl. Having been exposed to all of this he pursued dogs as pets and all the adventures they brought with them. Finding and attracting people with the same interest his knowledge quickly grew into a passion. This in turn got him into some trouble and created some unforgettable memories as well. Regardless of his status he always has a Pit Bull by his side!

Melanie has always had a curiosity for the Pit Bull in general. She longed for the day that she owned and was able to care for one. Her dream finally came through with her first dog, Geno. Geno was a ball of fire and had to constantly be restrained for he lunged at any other dog that dared pass his cross hairs. Geno, along with Melanies vast interest in the breed made her thirsty for knowledge. She went on and purchased every bit of literature she could get her hands on and started attending shows to start making connections in the dog world. This dog Geno, set in motion a series of events that would eventually lead her to Raider. Raider was her second dog and it was Raider that would merge Tony and Melanie together. All it took was for them to meet and the rest is history.

It's a blessing to have someone that shares the same interest especially dogs, especially the same breed! They quickly realized that they had a very unique way around dogs that so far has been unmatched! You see, 818 Concepts is more than a gig, side job, interest, its an entire life style. A life style that has taken this lively pair into some amazing scenarios, meeting amazing people and many impressive animals.
Having been and seen as much as these two have you can say that they have it made, because in their eyes and many others.... they do!

Everyday brings forth a new adventure, a new assignment, along with a new location. They are truly blessed and they hope that it shows in the work they create.
